For those of you who have followed my adventures of last year,
you already know that 2012 was my first visit to the motorcyclists’
Mecca. If this first experience in South Dakota was sort of my
baptism then my 2013 visit was equivalent to my first communion.
I would say that in 2012 I felt like a newborn at a baptism
– stunned by what was happening all around me and not really
knowing which way to turn my head as there were so many
opportunities to have fun, experience exceptional scenery and
observe atypical characters. However this year as I traveled
to the distant State I was better prepared to “connect”. (Read

Wharf Rat Rally

Is there any among you who don’t yet know of the Wharf
Rat Rally, the most notable motorcycle rally in Canada ?
If this is the case you need to find out about it. Although an
overall depiction is a good start, nothing can replace the
experience of actually being there to see, hear and feel the
atmosphere. Here is some information and a brief summary
Location : Digby, a small coastal town of 2,200 inhabitants
in the western part of Nova Scotia. It’s situated at the end
of the Annapolis Valley along the Bay of Fundy. The citizens
there are very friendly and glad to display, in large letters,
the celebrated words “Bikers Welcome”. Many families offer
improvised camping in their backyards or on their properties
to accommodate visitors...
